Bootcamps can be daunting. You're joining a bunch of people you don't know to exercise with. I'm going to let you in to a little secret - everyone feels that when they first start. A good bootcamp welcomes new members, encourages interaction and 100% gets you to buy in and support everyone. It's a group of like minded individuals coming together to get fitter together.
Environment is key, look for a nice open bootcamp with plenty of space, or a more intimate session but with far less people. Don't settle for being cramped in a small room - especially in these post COVID days.
Instructors, should have sent you a welcome to the bootcamp information. Make sure you okay with what' been written, look out for the exact location of the bootcamp - if it's in a big park, it's the worst thing running a mile around the park before you even started just looking for the damn thing.
Bootcamps should be fun, challenging and above all help you towards your goals.
We run our bootcamp on a Monday evening at 8pm.
